The fourth grade curriculum is delivered by a full time, certified teacher. The curriculum standards exceed the New Generation Sunshine State Standards and are in line with the National Common Core Standards. Teachers meet individual needs through regular assessments and working with students individually, in small groups, and large groups.
General Information
● Classes are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-2:30PM
● The Accelerated Reader Program, Khan Academy and Sunshine Math
● Homework: 30-40 minutes per night in addition to 30 minutes required reading
● Bi-weekly Spelling and Wordly Wise Tests
● Quarter Schedule: four interim reports and four report cards per year
● Stanford 10 Standardized Testing in the spring
